K.C.A. - Forma Vitrum Stained Glass

Bill Job was raised in the Tennessee mountains where he learned to appreciate the skills of local craftspeople. Bill began working with wood and later turned to glass. The detail and precision of the famous Tiffany lampshades fascinated him, and he began making reproductions.

The Bill Job collections are inspired by the warmth and timeless beauty of stained glass works created by craftspeople for centuries. Each piece is created from stained glass made in the United States, where we believe the finest glass in the world is produced.

The detail found in our collections is made possible by the stained glass assembly techniques developed by Louis C. Tiffany in the 19th century. Each tiny piece of glass is cut by hand from a large sheet of colored glass. The edges of the pieces are then smoothed and wrapped in copper, arranged and soldered together. When it is completed, it is truly an individual work of art, for each piece has its own color and cut variations, but all reflect the style and detail of the Bill Job design.
